Our spring rec program is designed for every level of player with a moderate level of commitment. The goal of the program is to introduce new players to the sport and improve the skills of our intermediate and advanced players. The spring “Rec” program is not tryout based and is open to everyone regardless of skill or experience. The rec teams will practice Sundays only starting February 1 through March 1. On March 2nd, the practices will be two nights a week with games and Saturday and/or Sundays. The U9 and U11 teams will practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The U13 and U15 teams will practice on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The spring season will end on May 3rd. We will be off for spring break from March 30th through April 5th.

2015 Spring Middle School Lacrosse Programs

In addition, the Fort Mill Lacrosse Club is pleased to offer two middle school teams for the 2015 spring season:

MS A                                                      Tryout based for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players

MS B                                                      Tryout based for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players

Our MS program is designed for the intermediate and advanced players that want to commit to playing lacrosse at a much higher level than previously offered. Placement on these teams will be 100% tryout based. Players will be assigned to a team based on skill level, experience, athletic ability, and potential. Team assignments will be made with the player’s development in mind and he will be placed on the team where they will get maximum playing time.  Spots on will be limited to 18-20 players on each team. The goal of this program is to prepare our players to make significant contributions on one of the local HS teams in the next few years.

Tryouts for the middle school teams will be held January 10th and pre online registration is required

Team Invitations will be sent out via e-mail no later than the evening of January 11th

On-line registration for the MS programs will open on line January 12, 2015

Practices will begin January 20th and will be held on Monday-Friday through February 27th. Games will begin February 28th with the “First Sign of Spring Tournament” and our season is scheduled to end on May 10th with either a conference championship tournament or a trip up to Maryland to play some of the best middle school programs in the country.  In season practice schedule will most likely be Monday –Friday based on game and School schedule. We will be off February 16th and for spring break from March 30th through April 5th. MS A and MS B teams will practice separately on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, but will do Speed and agility or skill specific training together on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
