Middle School Boys Lacrosse WINS  Championship in Columbia 

 

May 3, 2010- Fort Mill, SC-- Lacrosse, the fastest growing sport in the nation, is a winning sport in Fort Mill.  Last Sunday, the middle school boys team won all four games including the championship game, at the Heathwood Hall Middle School Lacrosse Tournament in Columbia.  The team had a total of 49 goals in the tournament against Charleston, Savannah and Heathwood Hall.  Only 4 goals were scored against the team the entire day. The Fort Mill club team is made up of boys in 6th - 8th grade mostly from Gold Hill Middle School, Springfield Middle School, and Fort Mill Middle School.  For more information on lacrosse visit www.fmlacrosse.com or check out a lacrosse game at the Catawba Classic Lacrosse Tournament www.catawbaclassic.com,  June 19 & 20, sponsored by the Fort Mill Lacrosse Club.
